Before you start your hunt, create a folder on your desktop. This is where you will send all the fonts when you download them.
You don’t have to search Google for the right site to get free fonts. 1001Freefonts offers some of the basic types of fonts in an organized manner. You will also be able to download a certain font that is either Mac OS or Windows compatible. Most of these fonts will come in zip files and you still have to extract the TIFF file. If you want to search for more intricate and sometimes personalized artistic fonts, you can go check out the Deviantart website for online artists. Make sure to ask for their permission to download the font of your choice.
Now if you already forgot how to install these files. Go to Control Panel and click on the folder named “Fonts”. Copy and paste all the TIFF files from the folder you created earlier on the Fonts folder and it will automatically install the fonts. Get free fonts and enjoy the new designs when you follow these steps.
